Research Associate - I

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up the purely temporary positions of two Research Associate-I, one each in the DBT project entitled "Antifungal peptide-based formulations for management of sheath blight disease in rice" and DBT project entitled "Imparting sheath blight disease tolerance in rice through genome editing of susceptibility factor" under the supervision of Dr. Gopaljee Jha, Scientist, BRIC-NIPGR.

Candidates with relevant experience in the area of molecular biology, genome editing, handling transgenic plants, plant-pathogen handling, formulations and protein biochemistry, duly supported with relevant publications in SCI journals (at least one first-author/two co-author research papers with more than 3 IF) will be preferred.
